A new roof!!!

Hello all, we are very happy to report that the main roof will be replaced within the next couple of weeks barring bad weather. We also thought it might be easier to follow the changes (illustrated with new photos) to the different rooms in the house if the rooms are named. The easiest way for me to keep it straight is to name the rooms for how they will be used and then make sure each new picture is captioned with the name of the room. I've also added a link to the King George Historical Society---they will hold their annual picnic at Cleydael in June!

I'd like to share our stories and photos...the floor to ceiling cabine†s and closets were added by the young couple who came in after we moved. We had no heat or AC...we used a woodstove, that Jim White made for us, in the living room (big room on left as you enter from the front. We had another stove in the big bedroom upstairs...there was also a cooking woodstove in the kitchen. I can't wait to share with you guys the state of the house when we lived there....it was incredible!!! And there were no other houses there! I wonder if Chris, Rachel, or Melissa spending time with us there....

Last Saturday I caught the band North Lakes downtown Charlottetown playing on the roof of The Green Man. Here is a couple of pics.
